NeilHALLSadly passed away on Saturday 15th February 2025, aged 80 years.

Beloved husband of Julie, father of Christopher, Ashleigh, Catherine and Neil and much loved father in law and grandfather.

Neil will be sadly missed by many friends and former colleagues, having retired as Chief Superintendent of Northumbria Police.

Family and friends please meet for the funeral service and cremation at Whitley Bay Crematorium Chapel on Monday 3rd March at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be made at the service to the Palliative Care Unit (ward 5) at North Tyneside General Hospital who provided such exemplary care and compassion in Neil's final days.

Julie, Neil, Catherine. We were so sad to hear the incredibly sad news of Neil’s passing, and we’ll be thinking of you on all on Monday wishing you so much love. I only met Neil a couple of times but he was a true gent with a glint in his eye and I know he’ll be so terribly missed, but he was so proud of you all.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Neil was a lovely man and I am sure will be very fondly remembered by many. I know I owe him my freedom; I'd still be trapped in the Hall family bathroom were it not for his expert lock picking skills.
